Create a Legacy that Lasts
Support Iowa Lakes Students for Generations Through an Endowment
Endowments are one of the most powerful ways to make a lasting impact at Iowa Lakes Community College. When you create or contribute to an endowment, your gift is invested, and the earnings are used to provide ongoing support for students, academic programs, and campus initiatives—year after year.
Whether your “IT” is empowering future nurses, supporting the arts, or fueling innovation in technical trades, an endowment lets you fund it… and help students get to it.
What is an Endowment?
An endowment is a permanent fund established with a minimum gift amount. The principal remains invested, and a portion of the earnings is used annually to support the purpose you choose, such as scholarships, faculty support, or program enhancements.
At Iowa Lakes, endowments are professionally managed to ensure long-term growth and stability, creating a dependable stream of funding for the future.
Types of Endowments
-
Scholarship Endowments – Support students based on financial need, academic achievement, or specific areas of study.
-
Program Endowments – Sustain and grow high-impact academic or technical programs.
-
Faculty and Staff Endowments – Encourage excellence in teaching, leadership, and student support.
-
Unrestricted Endowments – Allow the Foundation to direct support where it’s needed most.
